Paralegal

Nichole Gioaia

Nichole Gioia is not your typical paralegal. Prior to entering the legal field, Nichole
spent 18 years honing her skills in the healthcare industry as a Certified Nurse Aide
(CNA). Her extensive healthcare career covers home healthcare, independent and
assistant living facilities as well as skilled nursing facilities. This unique journey has
made her a valuable asset to the legal profession.
While her time as a CNA was deeply rewarding, Nichole felt a calling to expand her
horizons and explore new ways to advocate for individuals who have been through lifealtering experiences. Her extensive background in healthcare provides a unique
perspective, especially when it comes to veterans' benefits claims. Whether a Veteran’s
disabling condition is a primary, secondary, co-existing or residual condition, Nichole’s
healthcare experience helps ensure all of a veteran’s symptoms are considered for
disability compensation.
Nichole is a mother of four boys, two dogs, and there’s never a dull moment! Growing
up in Colorado Springs, a city renowned for its veteran-friendly atmosphere, she
developed a deep appreciation for those who serve and their families. Her father, an
Army veteran, instilled in her the values of discipline and service to others, while her
brother's active-duty service continues to reinforce the importance of commitment to a
higher cause.
Nichole’s remarkable journey from a CNA to a skilled paralegal emphasizes her
commitment to compassion and service. In her role as a paralegal, she continues to
make a profound impact on the lives of veterans and their families, ensuring that their
sacrifices are honored, and they receive the benefits to which they’re entitled.
